Transportation From Westchester, Albany and Stewart Airports
Renting a Car: Check out Westchester (White Plains), Albany and Stewart (Newburgh) if you want to rent a car and avoid NYC. Parking is available at Boughton Place. If you are going to rent a car, please be aware that rush hour traffic can increase your travel time extensively and you want to avoid being on the road between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm and between 6:00 am and 10:00 am. Parking is available on site.
Alternatively, at Stewart Airport you can contact Green Taxi at: (845) 255-4733 or New Paltz Taxi (845) 255-1550 . They charge around $60-70. Do contact them a couple of days before, not the day you arrive as they have limited vehicles. WE DO NOT SUGGEST THAT YOU USE THE TAXIS AT THE AIRPORT BECAUSE THEY OFTEN OVERCHARGE.
