Registration Instructions

Early registration is encouraged, as workshops and trainings fill up quickly. Your payment by credit card through PayPal serves as your registration. Most workshop webpages have a PayPal button for your convenience.

Refund Policy for Workshops

  • 6 weeks or more notice: Full refund minus PayPal or bank service fee and a $50
    administration fee.
  • 4-6 weeks notice: Full credit towards a future HVPI training minus a $50 administration fee.
  • 2-4 weeks notice: 50% credit towards a future HVPI training minus a $50 administration fee
  • With less than two weeks notice: 50% credit towards a future HVPI training minus a $50 administration fee ONLY IF WE ARE ABLE TO FILL YOUR SPACE.
  • *Credit must be used within 24 months.

All transfers between workshops will incur a $50.00 administration fee.

Refund Policy for Psychodrama Intensives and Directing Intensives

  • 10 weeks or more notice: Full refund minus PayPal or bank service fee and a $50
    administration fee.
  • 8-10 weeks notice: Full credit towards a future HVPI Intensive minus a $50 administration fee.
  • 4-8 weeks notice: 50% credit to future Intensive minus a $50 administration fee.
  • With less than four weeks notice: 50% credit towards a future HVPI intensive of the same type minus a $50 administration fee ONLY IF WE ARE ABLE TO FILL YOUR SPACE.
  • *Credit must be used within 24 months.

All transfers to other intensives will incur a $50.00 administration fee.

Financial Aid

Limited financial aid may be available for full-time students, the unemployed and the underpaid who work for grassroots organizations that offer services to youth, battered women, the homeless, the impoverished and the disenfranchised. Apply early.

Administrative Policies

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS: Please let us know by email to HVPI to request special accommodations (ADA).

COMPLAINTS AND GRIEVANCES: All complaints and grievances are reviewed within 5 working days. Formal grievances are required to be written, and will be responded to within 10 business days. Grievances should be directed to Rebecca Walters at HVPI.

Cancellations

Workshops will only be cancelled by HVPI due to medical or other unforeseen emergency situations or lack of enrollment.  Every effort is made to ensure that trainings proceed as scheduled.  Should a cancellation become necessary registrants will be contacted.  HVPI recommends contacting us before purchasing nonrefundable airline or train tickets.

Although it is rarely necessary, HVPI reserves the right to substitute qualified faculty if needed.

Health Policy:

Participants’ health is important. Respectfully, we also acknowledge that each individual is entirely responsible for their health & safety. If you have a fever or feel ill, please stay home.  If you any (Covid, flu, cold) symptoms of illness immediately prior to the training, please test for Covid and do not come until you have been fever-free without medication for at least 24 hours and it’s been at least 3 days since the onset of symptoms.  Please wear a mask if you are coughing and/or sneezing.  If you have been exposed to Covid but are testing negative, please test each day and wear a mask for five days post exposure.

MASK POLICY: Participants may choose to wear masks but it is not required unless the participant:

  • Is showing signs of an upper respiratory infection such as sneezing, coughing, runny nose or sore throat.
  • Has been exposed in the last five days to anyone who has or likely to have Covid.
  • Tested positive less than five days before the start of any workshop/intensive.
  • Please get in touch with us If you have had a positive covid test more than five days ago and are still testing positive.

If you test positive for Covid, please take a picture with the date and time of your positive test results and we will give you a credit towards another intensive or workshop equal to what you signed up for minus a $50.00 administrative fee. 

  • Please do not attend if you have symptoms that might indicate Covid
    infection  In such a case a credit will be issued towards a future
    Intensive of the same type.
