PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:
BY BUS: New Paltz, the town next to us, is served by Greyhound and Trailways
(http://www.trailways.com/) bus lines. Trailways buses run hourly to and from Port Authority in New
York City. Buses also serve various locations in Long Island, Albany, Oneonta, and Westchester and
connections to buses serving Western and Northern New York State, Western Massachusetts, and
beyond.

BY TRAIN: We are a 10 minute drive or cab ride to the Poughkeepsie Train Station which serves
Metro North (http://www.mta.info/mnr/) which offers commuter trains to various points in Westchester
and New York City, terminating at New York’s Grand Central Station. The same station also serves
Amtrak (http://www.mta.info/mnr/), with trains going north to Albany and south to New York’s Penn
Station. Connections at Grand Central and Penn Station are available to Amtrak (including Newark
Airport), New Jersey Transit, Long Island Railroad and Metro North trains serving much of the
northeast corridor.
