From the North or South: NYS Thruway (Rt.87) to New Paltz Exit #18. At light make right onto Rt 299 East. On the right you will pass the College Diner, then South Street, then New Paltz Road (Hess station). Make next right onto Kisor Rd. First left is Boughton Place. The Psychodrama Theater is the first building on the right. It is 5 minutes from Thruway.
From the West: Mid Hudson Bridge to Rt 9W North to Rt 299 West (towards New Paltz). About 2-3 miles on left you will pass Lilly Lake Road. Kisor Road is not far down on 299. Make left onto Kisor and first left is Boughton Place. Psychodrama theater is first building on right.
From the East: 299 through the village of New Paltz past the Thruway entrance. Follow directions from the North.
Public Transportation
Train: Metro North to Poughkeepsie . Taxi to Boughton Place in Highland. The taxi costs around $20. If more than one person is coming up by train the taxi can be shared. Count on the taxi taking twenty minutes to get you from the train station to Boughton place. Amtrak can get you to Poughkeepsie from points North and South. It is much more expensive than Metro North if you are coming from NYC.
Bus: Adirondack Trailways provides bus service to New Paltz from NYC and Albany and a taxi can be taken to Boughton Place. The cost of the taxi is about ten dollars and count on it taking you ten minutes to get from the bus station to Boughton Place. . If more than one person is coming up by train the taxi can be shared.
Airport: We are 30 minutes from Stewart/Newburgh, 60 Minutes from Albany and an hour and a half to two hours from Newark and the NYC airports. Public transportation is available from JFK, LaGuardia, Newark, and Albany Airports. Taxi or pick up service from Stewart/Newburgh Airport is available.
