Directions and Accommodations

Most Ulster County trainings/workshops and all intensives are held at Boughton Place at 150 Kisor Road, Highland, NY, home of the original Moreno Psychodrama Stage. Highland is right next to New Paltz and the beautiful Shawangunk Mountains. It is a half an hour from the historic village of Woodstock and the Catskill Mountains and right across the Hudson River from Hyde Park, home to the Roosevelt and Vanderbilt Mansions.

Boughton Place is less than one hour and fifteen minutes from Albany, Tarrytown and Katonah in NY and Sharon and Danbury in CT. It is two hours from New Haven, CT. It is about one and a half hours from the Upper West Side of Manhattan and Bergen County, NJ. It is an about an hour and a half from Great Barrington, MA.

Boughton Place is easily accessible by public transportation from NYC by bus or train which makes it easy to get here from the NYC airports: LaGuardia, Kennedy and Newark. Taxi service is available from the bus station in New Paltz or the train station in Poughkeepsie. It is an hour by car from Albany airport and a half hour from Stewart/Newburgh.

Westchester Trainings take place at Four Winds Hospital in Katonah, NY.in the Adolescent Partial Hospital Program Building. Katonah is an hour north of New York City and one half hour from Danbury Connecticut and Nyack, New York. It can be reached by Metro North commuter train service.
